OUR PASTOR
Hello, my name is Jacob. I arrived in the city of Preston in September 2010 as a student at the University of Central Lancashire. Four months later, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and began to serve God. Two years later Tawonga came to the church as a student and started serving in church, and in July 2016 we were married.

Through the process of discipleship and the work of the Holy Spirit, God prepared our hearts and lives to plant a life-giving church and in April 2024 we answered the call to birth a church in the town of Blackburn.
OUR HISTORY
We are from a group of churches called the Potters House Christian Fellowship church. Our founding pastor, Wayman Mitchell and his wife Nelda went to Prescott, Arizona in 1970 to pastor a small, struggling congregation. During that time, loads of hippies were giving their lives to Jesus and Pastor Mitchell welcomed them into his congregation.
Soon the church began to grow and God revealed His plan for discipleship and church planting. Pastor Mitchell began to disciple couples and send them out to start churches throughout America and nations around the world. This spread to the UK and a church was started in the city of Preston in March 2010.
